“It’s Mrs. Davis, dear. No, see Mrs. Hart was what Wanda branded me, you know. My name is Sharon.” - Sharon Davis

Mrs. Hart (also known as Sharon Davis) is a character from the Disney + series Agatha All Along and is depicted as the very quite and easy going neighbor who loves to garden.

This costume was different from others I have done in the past as many of the pieces for the costume had to be thrifted. Researching the character, the costume designer of the show wanted Mrs. Hart to stand out from the rest of the cast as she is the only none magical/whimsical character in the group. The designer opted to use real world clothing for her and sourced much of the clothing from Talbots. Since the clothing used for the show was no longer sold at Talbots, I spent many months thrifting to find the right clothing and was successful in my search.

While a majority of the costume was thrifted, the hat did require some work. I purchased a variety of fake flowers from local craft stores along with two types of ribbons. The ribbon in the show is a blue ribbon with a gold center which I could not find anywhere. So I bought two ribbons and sewed the gold ribbon onto the blue ribbon before attaching to the hat.

Everything including the flowers were hand sewn to the hat as I did not trust any type of glue to hold up in the Atlanta heat during DragonCon.
